Joey takes naps in her play pen when she's downstairs. Whenever she cries, Gwyn and Mr. Miyagi both run over to peek at her and see if she's ok.

Gwyn decided it was time to wake Mr. Miyagi up, so she crashed his bed. Both she and Gavin climb in there all the time -- we can't keep them out of it.

Gavin had the best time on New Year's Eve. He got to run around with sparklers and light off a bunch of rockets. 

Joey got this hat on Christmas day in the hospital. It says 'Mijn eerste kerst' which means, 'My first Christmas.' 

Bath time! 

We took Grandma to Leiden to the Museum Boerhaave. It was creepy. Their collection included numerous human skeletons, a child mummy, old medical equipment like amputation saws and bullet removers, and all kinds of disgusting things in jars like animals, organs, an ear, a couple of human fetuses, and a child's arm. The science teacher in me loved it, but Gavin got really grossed out.

We took Grandma to Delft to look at delftware, which is pottery that's only made in the town of Delft. Here she and Gavin are in downtown Delft.
